Challenge
While numerous open data sets drive the development of autonomous solutions, a crucial gap exists in data on European road conditions. Zenseact, headquartered in Gothenburg, felt the void and took action. Over two years, the company collected data, spanning from snowy roads in northern Sweden to sun-soaked streets in southern Italy. Leveraging their unique sensors, Zenseact ensured the information's quality. ZOD, Zenseact Open Data, is now accessible to any company in the autonomous driving sector. The communication challenge was to let the target audience know that ZOD exists.
Solution
Whataboutus was assigned to tell Zenseact’s story. The creative team came up with the simple yet powerful idea to go on the road with Zenseact. From the passenger’s point of view, we get to follow how data is collected. Guided by Mina Alibeigi, project leader at Zenseact, the story unfolds, explaining the purpose, the crucial details, and who the data set is for.
