The right to walk

In this "mini-documentary" we dive into the inspiring world of a dedicated medical team in Lyon, France. They go above and beyond to empower their patients' societal participation, and Qualisys mocap solutions play a crucial role in their journey. From traditional gait labs to cutting-edge immersive laboratories, these innovative technologies support the team in optimising patient treatment, rehabilitation, and injury prevention.

CHALLENGE

Qualisys had a goal in mind—to craft a story that would resonate with life science clients while also captivating a broader audience unfamiliar with motion capture technology. It was essential to strike a balance, offering valuable insights for professionals while keeping the story relatable and interesting for a wider range of viewers.

Another critical consideration was to portray the patients with utmost respect, ensuring their privacy and dignity were protected throughout the storytelling process. Great care was taken to avoid any form of exposure or exploitation, emphasising their journey and experiences in a compassionate and sensitive manner, and, during filming, to cause minimum of disruption to the essential services provided at the clinic.

SOLUTION

A mini-documentary video was created and shared across Qualisys' social media platforms, generating a positive and enthusiastic response. The video has proven to be a valuable asset for sales purposes.

CONTENT

As a complement to the mini-documentary, the project at Centre Médico-chirurgical de réadaption des Masseus in Lyon was also documented in a photography series.
